Concept : We were announced that we are going to make a 1:1 scale chair, then I have decided to choose cement as my main material. As I wanted to create a counter-expectation to the person who sits on it. People have this psychological expectations such as: we think of cold when we see a picture of snow, even if we're not physically experiencing the snow.

 

Design : The shape of the chair was a form of a person who can easily lie on it. And I drilled some holes on the surface so the light I placed in can come out. But how would the light shine gently? My teacher helped me out on writing the code of Arduino, so I can control the light to shine gradually as the surface sensered the warmth when individual sits on it. It would adjust the light and the temperature by each different person's body temperature, which makes a dialogue between the person and the chair.
